New Year, New You
What Do You Wish You Could Accomplish This Upcoming Year?
Often we create New Year’s resolutions that end up being far-flung goals that require us to make a full 180 in the way we live our lives. As a result, when we start on our new track of “going to the gym every day” or “eating healthy for every meal,” it’s easy to fall off the wagon and back into our own, comfortable ways.
Why? Because we set up unrealistic goals!
We don’t fail because we’re weak or lazy or not good enough, but because we don’t go about changing our habits in a smart and sustainable way. We expect too much too soon, and get disappointed when the results aren’t what we romanticized or hoped for.
That’s why I’ve put together the New Year, New You Email Series, because I want to share effective strategies that you can utilize for creating realistic and sustainable goals that will help you build confidence and ultimately feel happier and healthier!

Keeping Up With Your Goals Is Hard Work
Just because we write down a list of resolutions on a piece of paper doesn’t mean that we’ll wake up the next day with a completely new mindset and attitude.
Change doesn’t happen overnight, and you can’t expect yourself to completely turn your life upside down to fit into new habits without putting in the effort and self-love along the way.
My goal for this email series is to remind you that your New Year’s resolutions shouldn’t be for anyone’s happiness but your own. If you feel as though hitting the gym a few times a week will make you happy, that’s awesome. If going to the gym is something you feel that you should do but don’t actually enjoy, then forget about it! This process of goal-setting is all about making positive changes that feel impactful and exciting for you. At the end of the day, you’re not going to be able to stick to any habit for the long term if it doesn’t make YOU feel good.
I Can’t Wait to Share More With You!
